How to convert binary to decimal
Multiply each binary digit by 2 raised to the power of its position, counting from 0 at the right, then add the results.
Example: 10011100 (binary) to decimal
10011100 = 1 × 2⁷ + 0 × 2⁶ + 0 × 2⁵ + 1 × 2⁴ + 1 × 2³ + 1 × 2² + 0 × 2¹ + 0 × 2⁰
= 128 + 0 + 0 + 16 + 8 + 4 + 0 + 0 = 156
